Meet the Members of the Management Committee

The Mullion Village Hall is current managed by a small committee of volunteers who are

Peter Wilkins (Chair)
Peter is a long standing resident and retired business owner of Mullion. He is well known within the village due to his many voluntary roles and previous work as a Parish Councillor and retained Fireman.

Peter is the current chair of the Village Hall committee and a very keen patron of many of the events that are run at the hall (quiz night, bingo night, coffee mornings) to mention but a few. Peter has extended family living in Mullion and is very committed to keeping Mullion a lovely and caring place to live.

Beryl Cullen (Secretary)
Beryl and her family have lived in Cornwall for many years, though not Cornish by birth. Beryl is very well known within the Village for her numerous voluntary roles. As Committee Secretary, Beryl is very much the driving force and motivator behind the smooth running of the Village Hall. She also cooks for the monthly Village lunch, runs the monthly Cancer Research coffee mornings, and participates with other activities held at the Village Hall. If you come to the hall, you are bound to bump into her!

Carolyn Norton (Treasurer)
Carolyn is Cornish and born in Mullion. She has spent years away from our lovely village but returned about 14 years ago. In addition to looking after her family and undertaking paid employment she also works voluntarily as the Treasurer for the Mullion Village Hall. This is an essential and exacting role which Carolyn conducts with great professionalism and is generally viewed as a safe pair of hands. It has also been observed that she is very much an "ideas person" on the Committee - another crucial role!

Sandra Jones

Christine Short
Christine joined the committee in 2021 as a co-opted member following retirement from full time employment. Christine became a full committee member in the autumn of 2022 and has been instrumental in setting up the Village Hall website. She feels strongly about caring for Mullion: the  community, the landscape and the wildlife.

Mickey Harding (Co-opted member)
Mickey has been co-opted onto the committee for his expertise in cleaning, caretaking and putting much time into looking after the Village Hall. Mickey has lived all his life on the Lizard, and runs a stall at the Friday coffee morning and Monday market.
